Sometimes, when I am going through my single parent moments - “I dont want to be a mommie anymore”, he has this way of making it all better with his smile and his laugh. I only wish that he knew that he means the world to me and I will protect him from everyone and everything that could harm him.
Zachary is so above average for his tender years. Zach and I have this favorite song, and when we sing it together it just brings joyous tears to my eyes because he's so talented and he emphasizes on the words that are important in the song..Here's a little bit of the song that we sing..“..some people want it all, but I don't, want nothing at all, if it aint you, baby..if I aint got you baby. Some people want diamond rings, some just want everything, but everything means nothing, if I aint got you!!!”
That's how I feel about him and when we sing, it's like he knows that and he feels the same
way about me!
THAT's what makes my day..well, my life!
Rochelle Helm - mommie of Zachary Helm
This is my son Zachary. This picture was taken on his birthday, March 26, 2004. Zach just has this way of making me laugh so hard that tears come to my eyes. He is such a character. And just the way that he says certain words, they seem to make my whole life much better.
I take him to daycare and every morning he says, “Bye bye Mommy. See you later. You'll be right back. Gimme kiss. Kiss Kiss.”
Those words alone are the best words I hear all day. Just hearing that brightens my day and my smile.
I think he knows how much I need him. If not, one day, he will truly realize how much joy he gives me!
